Co-Fit Academy is our exclusive training program uniquely designed for the student and the athlete (i.e. student-athletes).

Our trainers work with kids starting in middle school and up through college and beyond. We have multiple custom training and coaching options for them to train privately or in small groups.

Life + Leadership Coaching

The 3 Elements of a Student-Athlete’s Development:

We believe that there are 3 elements of a Student-Athlete’s development:

  1. The Sport itself and their Formal Education (i.e. What takes place at school)
  2. Sports Performance Training
  3. Character Education / Personal Development (i.e. Intangibles)

This 3rd element is where our program separates itself. We tie all 3 elements together, but our primary difference maker is this 3rd element that is typically missing from a student-athlete’s development.

Co-Fit Academy teaches student-athletes material that they will not learn in school. We don’t teach a scholastic course load. We teach a “real life” course load.

Our program provides the only structured plan for helping your teen (or young adult) become a better person, a better student, and a better athlete.

This completeness is accomplished by focusing on their development in each of our 4 core principles, which are: Physical, Mental, Social, and Spiritual.

These core principles are addressed in our unique 3 step process. First in our weekly Focus Forum, next through our Winner’s Way goal setting system, and lastly in each student-athlete’s constant companion and go-to resource book, The Way 2 Win Compass.

Through this process we aim to be a positive and reliable source of Guidance, Accountability, Influence, and Resources for all student-athletes.

FOCUS FORUM

Through the Focus Forum we aim to give your student-athlete a unique experience they cannot receive anywhere else. During each session they will Have Fun, Be Challenged, and Learn Something. This is accomplished by:

  • Athletic performance training that is fun, yet challenging and unconventional (both physically and mentally)
  • Utilizing healthy competition (both internally and externally)
  • Utilizing small group life teachings.

WINNER’S WAY

Goal setting and achievement is our primary way of measuring the progress of your student-athlete and the effectiveness of our program. We firmly believe in the saying that “If you can’t measure it, you can’t improve it.” That is why our goal setting system, which we refer to as Winner’s Way, is so vital to your student-athlete’s success. Through Winner’s Way our focus is to align your student-athlete’s goals with our system to create win-win outcomes.

THE WAY 2 WIN COMPASS

When writing material for the Way 2 Win Compass we utilized what we like to call the 1-3-1 format. That is, 1 Topic, 3 Key Lessons (typically), and 1 example of the Topic in Action. If it was impossible to write up a “Topic In Action” we replaced it with a section called “What’s Next? / Action Steps”. Content for one full topic is typically no more than 2-3 pages. Our goal for all Platt-Form material is for it to be “Compact, but Impactful.”
